Hi

My name is Juan Balmaseda, and I am very excited to join The Pollen Club as the new Head Coach.

I first picked up a padel racket when I was just 7 or 8 years old, and since then the sport has been a constant part of my life. At the age of 13, I began competing in leagues across the Valencian Community in Spain, an experience that gave me strong foundations in both the technical and competitive sides of the game.

After several years of competing and training, I decided to take a different path and dedicate myself to teaching and sharing my passion for padel. For the past few years, I have been coaching players in Spain and the UK, helping people of all ages and levels to develop their skills, improve their tactical understanding, and most importantly, enjoy the game.

My coaching style is based on patience, enthusiasm, and adaptability. I am fluent in both Spanish and English. I believe every player is unique and that is why I always focus on tailoring sessions to individual needs—whether the goal is learning the basics, improving technique, or preparing to compete.

Now, I am truly excited to bring my experience and passion to The Pollen Club, and I look forward to meeting you all on court.
